Warren “Keith” Walker, 86, of Ludlow, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at his residence. Keith earned his PhD in Physics and worked for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in California
,
where he was a pioneer in the first space exploration program. Keith loved science and was an entrepreneur at heart. He was involved in drilling for oil in Kentucky, where he met the love of his life, Barbara. He enjoyed trading in the stock market, buying gold coins and was involved in financing radio stations in Arizona.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 40 years, Barbara Walker of Ludlow; son, Larry Walker of Mexico; daughter, Joyce Tejan of Arizona; stepdaughter, Jeanie Morgan; 2 granddaughters, Katherine and Isabelle.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Fenton Gene Walker; sister, Maxine Mattson; stepson, Robert Morgan and grandchildren, Heather and Kevin Tejan.
Visitation is on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 12:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow.
Interment is on Saturday at 11:00 AM eastern time (10:00 AM central time) in Beulah Chapel Cemetery, 4262 Liberty Rd., Columbia, KY.
