Beverly Lynn Griffith, born on April 1, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, in Florence, Kentucky. Beverly’s life was one of dedication, trailblazing, and deep love for her family and community.
Beverly was the beloved daughter of the late William Raymond Griffith and Constance Marie Griffith. From an early age, she demonstrated the determination and strength that would characterize her life’s journey.
Her professional path was marked with pioneering achievements and steadfast service. Beverly began her career at Delta Airlines in reservations, where she developed a reputation for her reliability and warmth with colleagues and travelers alike. She later brought her talent and sense of duty to law enforcement, first working in dispatch for the Newport Police. Beverly’s passion for public safety and her courageous spirit led her to become the first female police officer for the Villa Hills Police Department—a groundbreaking accomplishment demonstrating her resolve and commitment to making a difference.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Beverly found immense joy in traveling and exploring new places. She cherished her moments spent with friends, especially at Irene’s Little Bar, where she fostered lasting relationships and created memories that will endure in the hearts of those who knew her best.
Beverly’s family was central to her life. She is survived by her devoted brother Mark Griffith and by her loving nephews Steven Luke Staggs, William Kyle Griffith, Justin Tyler Griffith, and Dakota James Griffith. Her cousin Christina Marie Griffith also shares in the family's grief and celebration of Beverly’s life. Beverly was preceded in death by her dear uncle, Byron "Jim" Van Griffith, her aunt, Wanda Lou Griffith, her cousin, Michael Todd Griffith, as well as her parents, William Raymond Griffith and Constance Marie Griffith nee: Pollen.
Beverly Lynn Griffith’s legacy is one of courage, kindness, and the unyielding pursuit of her dreams. She touched the lives of many and will be remembered with deep affection and gratitude by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
