James Bruce Hays
James “Bruce” Hays, 58, of Ft. Mitchell, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022. Bruce was a Sales Manager at Dyke Industries in Erlanger. His dream job, after retirement, was to be a pontoon shuttle captain at Walt Disney World. Bruce loved gardening, traveling, and cooking. His favorite food was TexMex and Italian. He also loved his two cats, Luna and Demi.
Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Vickie Hays; daughters, Lori (Bryan) Cromer of Lexington and Courtney Hays of Cincinnati; mother, Mae Deline Hays; brother, Anthony (Erika) Hays of Greensburg, KY and niece, Delona Hays; grandchildren, Cassidy and Landon and great-granddaughter, Aria.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Eddie” Hays; grandmother, Lillian “MaMa” Skaggs and grandfather, James “Pa” Skaggs.
Visitation is on Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the hour of memorial service at 12:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm St., Ludlow, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Cancer Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or venmo: @brucesmemorialfund.
