William “Terry” Vincent, 85, of Ludlow, peacefully passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the VA Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Terry served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, a testament to his courage and commitment. This legacy of service continued well beyond his military years, shaping both his life path and the lives of those around him.
Terry had a successful career with many years at McAlpin's, and then with UPS Supply Chain Solutions in Hebron.
A man of varied interests, Terry was known for his competitive spirit on both the golf course and the bowling lanes. He was an avid golfer and a formidable bowler, participating on both recreational and competitive teams. Beyond his athletic pursuits, Terry actively contributed to eight different charities, embodying his lifelong commitment to giving back.
His devotion to veterans’ organizations was evident through his many affiliations: a proud member of the American Legion in Latonia, past member of American Legion #153 in Bellevue, honorary member of Paralyzed Veterans of America, and former member of the Ludlow Veterans of Foreign Wars. These associations underscored Terry’s deep respect for his fellow servicemen and women, and the bonds forged throughout his years.
Terry also loved travel, having embarked on 54 cruises throughout his life. These journeys brought him much joy, new friendships, and a treasured trove of stories, continually expanding his sense of adventure.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Vincent; his mother, Ida Vincent; and his sister-in-law, Carol Vincent.
Survivors include brother, Thomas Vincent of Villa Hills and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 10:00AM at Anchor Baptist Church, 3126 Riggs Ave, Erlanger, KY 41018.
Interment in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.
