Wilma A York

Wilma York, 87, of Ludlow, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. She was born on April 17, 1937, in Knott County where she began a life of passion and kindness. A cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend. She stayed close to her community by working at Duro Paper Bag Company and later managed the deli at IGA in Ludlow. Wilma was a member of Ludlow Baptist Church. In retirement she filled her days spending time with family along with winters in Florida. 

Survived by her cherished daughters, Genise (Pat) Crowley, Mona Glueck; beloved son, Dwaine (Susan) York; brothers, Everett Noe (JR) and Glen Noe; 8 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. 

Wilma was proceeded in death by her husband, Wilgus York; parents, Everett and Dana Noe; sister, Helen Ison and brother, Ronnie Noe. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 10:00AM until the hour of Service at 11:00AM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016. 

Interment in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky.
