William "Bill" Sears

William “Bill” Sears, 76, Villa Hills, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood Ky.   Bill was born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1946, moving to Northern Kentucky in the early 1950’s where he spent the remainder of his life.  Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army as a Pershing Missile crew chief during the Vietnam War era, achieving the rank of Sergeant.  Upon his return from the Army, he began his 41-year career at Ford Motor Company as an assembly line worker and later as a Journeyman Electrician.  Bill was a lifelong outdoorsman who enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, boating and time on the beach.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Doreen Sears.

He is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Shirley Osborne; daughters, Meredith (Todd) Brewer, Elizabeth (Reid) Morehouse, Tracy Osborne and 4 grandchildren; his brother Robert (Mona) Sears, and nieces, Rebecca, Renee, Robyn.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 11:00 AM until the service at 11:30 AM all in the Highland Cemetery Chapel, 2167 Dixie Highway, Ft Mitchell, Ky.

Internment in Highland Cemetery, Ft Mitchell, Ky.
