Robert J. “Bob” Van Herpe, 84, of Villa Hills, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at his residence. Bob proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a Kentucky Colonel and member of American Legion Post 0200 in Louisville, Bass Masters and a lifelong member of the NRA.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Evelyn “Evie” Van Herpe; daughter, Veronica (Chris) Parton of Ft. Wright; son, William (Kristin) Van Herpe of Santa Fe, NM and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Van Herpe and sister, Melanie Kotes.
Visitation is on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, from 4:00 PM until the hour of Memorial Service at 6:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY.
Inurnment is on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 12:00 PM in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY.
