Phyllis Ann Fort
Phyllis A. Fort, nee Neckel, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away at age 87 on Saturday, March 18, 2023. Phyllis was a graduate of Mariemont High School and a lifelong Reds and Bengals fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Butch” Fort and her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Nancy Neckel.
Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Missy (David) Witt of Ft. Wright, KY, Phyllis (Mike) Bigley of Goshen, OH, Tammie (Brooke) Smith of Powell, TN; sisters, Sandra (Wynn) Muller of Cromwell, CT, Judy (late Gary) Burnside of Loveland, OH; brother, Tom Neckel of Largo, FL; granddaughters, Lauren Smith, Katherine (Issac) Neil and Lillie (Blake) Fowlkes, Emily Witt and Tess Witt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and grand dogs Kiki and Joey as well as devoted friends, RJ and Debbie Edgington and the love of her life, great granddaughter, Millie Leonhardt.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to St. Elizabeth Hospice for all the care they gave to Phyllis during her last two weeks of life.
Visitation is on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 6:00 PM until the hour of Service at 7:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home 316 Elm St., Ludlow, KY.
Interment is at 10:00 AM on Friday in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY.
