Norma L. Rhodes, 86, of Erlanger, a loving and kindhearted mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, at Villa Springs. Born Norma L. Allender on August 3, 1939, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she lived a life marked by dedication to her family, community, and faith.
A proud graduate of Holmes High School, Norma embraced a career that reflected her commitment to service and care for others. She worked as a Loan Officer at US Bank, where her professionalism and warmth left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike. Following her retirement, Norma devoted herself to nurturing families as a nanny and shared her knowledge and compassion as a teacher at Lakeside Presbyterian Church. Her involvement in her faith was deep and continuous; she was an active member of St. John's Congregational Church, where she served as Church Treasurer, Sunday School Teacher, and Choir member, roles through which she touched many lives.
Norma was predeceased by her father, Raymond Allender; her mother, Ethel Allender Nee: Winter; her brother, Donald Allender; and her beloved husband, William Rhodes. She is survived by her two devoted sons, Keith Rhodes and Brian Rhodes, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, who carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.
Her funeral service will be held on March 26, 2026, from 10:00 AM to the hour of service at 12:00 PM at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, located at 316 Elm Street in Ludlow, Kentucky. Burial will take place at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.

Norma L. Rhodes's life was a beacon of compassion, faith, and dedication. Her memory will endure in the hearts of those who knew her and in the many lives she enriched through her selfless spirit and unwavering kindness. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of her acquaintance.
