Mary Kathleen "Bunny" Wynn

Mary Kathleen "Bunny" Wynn, 86 of Ludlow, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. She had a soul that warmed the hearts of everyone she met and brought kindness and joy to the lives of her family over the remarkable span of her 86 years.

Bunny began her working life serving others in the lunchroom at St. James School in Ludlow, where her warm smile and caring nature made a lasting impression on the students she served each day. She later continued her work in the community at the deli counter of IGA Grocery in Ludlow, where she enjoyed greeting familiar faces and sharing friendly conversation with neighbors and customers. In her later years, she worked as a clerk at Buddy’s Pharmacy, where she was known for her kindness, helpful spirit, and genuine care for everyone who walked through the door. Throughout her career, she took great pride in serving her community and building friendships with the many people whose lives she touched along the way.

Bunny's spirit was characterized by her nature; her ability to make others comfortable was unparalleled. Friends and family alike could count on her always to see the good in any situation, a trait that inspired many around her. Bunny had a notable talent for sewing and quilting but most of all a devoted mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her son, James (Sookie) Wynn of Independence; daughters, Diana Harvey Elsmere, Sheila Wynn of Falmouth, and Linda (Ron) Perry of Independence; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Her late husband, James Wynn, Jr., and three sisters, including her identical twin sister Mary Katherine "Kay" Willenborg preceded her in death.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 10:00AM until the hour of Service at 12:00PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, Kentucky 41016.

Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41016.
