Kathleen Marie Werle-Stock (née Doyle), 92, of Springboro, OH, formerly of Ludlow, KY, passed away on July 15, 2025. Born June 15, 1933, in Cincinnati, OH, Kathleen was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was the longtime owner of Design Cincinnati International, where she was known for her talent as an interior decorator.
A devoted volunteer, Kathleen served as a Eucharistic minister at Mercy Hospital, helped organize the St. Francis Seraph Festival, and volunteered at both St. Peter in Chains Cathedral and St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, where she was a greeter and tour guide. Her deep faith and generous spirit defined her life and inspired many. Kathleen’s legacy lives on not only through the beautiful interiors she created but also in the love and kindness that radiated from her. Her warm spirit and companionship will be deeply missed by everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her two sons, Mark (Michele) Werle of Springboro, OH, and Dale (Mary Jo) Werle of New Richmond, OH; grandchildren Manda, Jennifer, Shannon, Nicholas, Mark Joseph, Christopher, Benjamin, and Peter, as well as 11 great-grandchildren (with two more on the way); brother Robert Doyle and sister Carol Price. Also, by Marvin’s children, Barbara (deceased) and Dennis Nielsen; Judy and John (deceased) Forrester; Larry and Linn Stock; Dennis and Carolyn Stock; Patti and Tim Reilly; Tony and Sally Stock; and Mike and Becky Stock.
She was preceded in death by her identical twin sister, Eileen Smith; her parents, John and Mary Doyle; and her husbands, Ralph Werle and later Marvin Stock.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., at St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, 1140 Madison Ave., Covington, KY.

In place of flowers, memorials may be made to The Cathedral Legacy Endowment.
