Joan B. Ernest, 83, of Edgewood, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2014 at her daughter Jenny’s home in Walton. She was a retired Clerk for the IRS. Joan was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Ludlow.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James G. Ernest, Sr. (2006).
Survivors include her sons, James G. Ernest, Jr. of Florence, J. Wesley Ernest of Ft. Wright, Joseph A. Ernest of Elizabethtown, Jeff B. Ernest of Florence, Jerald K. Ernest of Erlanger; daughters, Jeanette Mahan of Hebron, Jenny Day of Walton; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation is on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 10:00 AM to the hour of Service at 12:00 Noon all in Wesley United Methodist Church, 319 Oak Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Wesley United Methodist Church General Fund.
