James J. Whalen

James J. “Jim” Whalen, 76, of Erlanger, formerly of Crestview Hills, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at his residence.  He was a retired CPA.

Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Mary Kathryn “Mernie” Whalen; sons, Dan (Jody) Whalen of Cincinnati, Tom Whalen of Erlanger; daughters, Kathy (Jeff) Ward of West Carrollton, OH, Debbie (Jimmie) Mayfield of Lexington; sister, Florence Reilman of Mason, OH and 2 grandchildren, Tiffany and Jessica.

He is preceded in death by his parents James Whalen, Sr and Martha (Kesse) Whalen.

Visitation is on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 9:00AM until the hour of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM all in St Pius X Church, 348 Dudley Road, Edgewood, KY 41017.  A reception will immediately follow Mass in Milligan Hall.

Interment will be at a later date in St Augustine Cemetery, Augusta, KY.
