James Donald Andrew, 90, of Fort Wright, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away quietly on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the St. Elizabeth Care Center. Born on October 3, 1935, in Lynch, Kentucky, James lived a life marked not only by professional success but also by profound love for his family and community.
For many years, Jim operated as a CPA, proudly owning and managing the esteemed firm Andrew, Littner, Mancini & Vogele (formerly Wm. H. Mers & Co.). His career spanned decades and reflected his unwavering commitment to his clients and profession. Beyond his professional accomplishments, James carried the honor of serving in the US Navy, where he developed lifelong friendships and experiences that would shape him into the man he became.
Jim found joy in being a proud member of the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial, Club and a member of the American Legion. His dedication to service and camaraderie was a testament to the values he held dear throughout his life. He was also recognized as a Kentucky Colonel, a proud accolade that symbolized his commitment to making a positive impact on those around him.
Jim is survived by his beloved children, Tim (Pam) Andrew of Taylor Mill, Ann (Dave) Stutler of Park Hills, Jenny (Mark) O’Connell of Ft. Wright, John (Ruth) Andrew of Ft. Wright, and Michael Andrew of Covington, his dear brother, Charles (Jane) Andrew of Villa Hills; grandchildren, Colin (Katy), Tyler, Anna, Ryan, Samantha (Jacob), Sarah, Megan, Nicole, and Chris, great granddaughter Mackenzie, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his late wife, Patricia Andrew, and his parents William and Nina Andrew and his late sister, Ann ReJene.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 10:15AM until the hour of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM all in Saint Agnes Church, 1680 Dixie Highway, Fort Wright, Kentucky 41011.
