Clifford Huff
Clifford “Cliff” Huff, devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, 93, of Villa Hills, KY peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Cedar Village in Mason, Ohio. He was a member of Central Church of the Nazarene in Ft. Wright, where he was an active member of the church community for over 70 years serving as a board member and usher. He was a leading salesperson in selling bonds to fund the building of Central Church of the Nazarene. Early in life Clifford and his wife, Nina, owned C&N Grocery Store in Ludlow. Clifford then went on to work for CSX as a crew dispatcher for 35 years. He was also a councilman of Villa Hills. Cliff loved to build houses and restore cars, making them look new. He collected Lionel trainsets, and he enjoyed doing yard work and giving tractor rides with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his devoted daughters, Cynthia (Greg) Sizemore of Glendale, OH, Sharon (Darrell) East of West Chester; brothers, Jim (Bert) Huff of Fort Mitchell and Rev. Denzil (Christine) Huff of Hermitage, TN; 4 grandchildren, Julia Lynn (Brandon) Thompson, Nathaniel Gregory (Erin) Sizemore, Alivia Danae (Matt) Jewell, James Andrew (Katlyn) East; 12 great grandchildren, McKenna, Macy, Tristen, Theodore, Elizabeth, Charlotte Grace, Madilynn, Levi, Oscar, William, David and one on the way.
Clifford was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Nina Ruth Huff (2019).
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 10:30 AM until the hour of Service at 12:00 PM all at Central Church of the Nazarene, 2006 Pieck Drive, Ft. Wright, KY 41011.
In lieu of flowers, the Huff family asks that you make a contribution to an academic scholarship fund in honor and memory of Clifford and Nina Huff. The fund will help support the academic goals of students at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, majoring in Art or Music.
