Clarence "Dutch" Dickman
Clarence B. “Dutch” Dickman, 93, of Crescent Springs, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. He was a retired electrician with Sturm Electric in Edgewood. Dutch proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a member and usher at Mother of God Church in Covington. He was also a member of Happy Timers and Park Hills Seniors, Knights of Columbus Kehoe Council #1764, Ludlow Vets, and was chairman of the Emerald Spring’s Maintenance Committee. Dutch loved traveling with his wife, was an avid Cincinnati Bengals, University of Cincinnati Bearcats, Cincinnati Reds and University of Kentucky sports fan. In his early years, Dutch was very involved in the Ludlow community, where he was one of the founders of Lemker Field, he was a Ludlow AC girls softball coach for many years and past treasurer of the Ludlow Bromley Swim Club. He loved his time at the Cincinnati Art Museum setting up the displays and spending his time woodworking.
Survivors include his loving daughters, Anita (Don) Randall of Independence, Dee (Rick) Tewes of Villa Hills; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Louise Dickman; brothers, Vince and Ervin Dickman; sisters, Rosemary Wright and Delores Lantry.
Visitation is on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 10:00 AM until the hour of Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM all in St. Barbara Church, 4042 Turkeyfoot Rd, Erlanger, KY 41018.
Entombment at St. Mary Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.
