Carol Ann Mang, 81, of Park Hills passed away on peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. She was a retired Registered Nurse with University Hospital in Cincinnati.
Carol's contributions to her community were profound. As a past President of the Ladies Society of Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, she dedicated her time and efforts to the church. A familiar face, she welcomed parishioners and visitors alike as a Greeter and shared her vocal talents in the choir at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption. Her involvement in the community extended to being a past member of the Baker Hunt Ladies Auxiliary. Furthermore, her compassion and knowledge led her to serve as an instructor at the Good Samaritan Hospital Nursing School, influencing countless nursing students.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Berry Mang, Jr. of Park Hills; children, Berry "Chris" (Sheri Veber) Mang of Elkhart, Iowa, and Tonya Mang of Park Hills; sisters, Sara Blades, Jayne Trapp, and Brenda Magg; brother, Ralph Peebles; grandchildren, Tony (Tessie) Morris, Frankie Morris, Jennifer Veber, Jordan Veber, Madison Veber, and Jack Veber; great - grandchildren: Emmah, Carter, Mason, and Skyler Ann Morris, Aaron and Benjamin Veber.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the hour of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM, all in the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington, 1101 Madison Avenue, Covington, Kentucky 4101.
Interment in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky.
