Betty Lou Teeters, 91, of Ludlow, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the New Castle Nursing Home and Rehab in New Castle, Kentucky. Born on September 18, 1933, in Ludlow, Kentucky, to her parents, Russell and Mildred Zornes.
Betty retired from the Internal Revenue Service, she dedicated many years of her life to public service, contributing her time and talents with unwavering commitment. Her work ethics and sincere dedication left a positive impact on those fortunate enough to work alongside her.
A nurturing spirit, Betty was a passionate gardener who found joy in cultivating her flower beds and tending to her garden, where she could often be found surrounded by nature’s blooms. She had a creative side as well, bringing warmth to her family through her delightful crocheting and knitting. Each stitch carried with it not only the creativity of her hands but also the love she poured into every piece, creating special keepsakes for her loved ones.
She is survived by her son, Robert Griffith, as well as her daughters, Sharon Lynn Martin and Donna Lee Stewart, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Betty is preceded in life but late son, Daniel Griffith, along with her brother Eugene Zornes and sister Joyce Ann Meekes.
Visitation will be Monday, May 12, 2025, from 10:00AM until the hour of Service at 11:00AM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, Kentucky.
Interment in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky.
