Betty Jo Dalton, 91, of Madeira, Ohio, a beloved homemaker and cherished matriarch, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on April 19, 1934, in Lexington, Kentucky, Betty lived a life steeped in love, family, and warm memories.
Betty found joy in the simplest pleasures; she loved completing jigsaw puzzles, spending tranquil moments fishing, attending dirt track racing, and enjoying trips to the casino. However, her most treasured love was always centered around her family. She took immense pride in nurturing her children and grandchildren, and her legacy will undoubtedly continue through them.
Betty is survived by her loving children: Jimmy Lee (Gladys) Dalton of Owenton, Gary Lee Dalton of Indio, CA, Linda Marie (Frank) Mansfield of Covington, Jeffery (Lola) Dalton of Williamstown, Keith (Karen) Dalton of Cincinnati, Timothy (Christina Denton) Dalton of Hebron, Mary (Jeff) Crocker of Norwood, and Jeanne Dalton. She also leaves behind her adored daughters in law, Susan Spenneberg, Kim Moorehead, and Tina Dalton along with 34 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who will forever hold her memory dear. As one of seven children, Betty's close-knit family ties enriched her life, creating memorable moments that spanned generations.
Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband Boyd Dalton, and her sons, Ronald, David, and John Dalton, as well as her daughter, Helen Dalton. She also mourned the loss of her daughters-in-law, Patricia Dalton, Kathy Dalton, and Shirley Dalton who were cherished members of the family.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the hour of Service at 12:00 PM at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, Kentucky. Following these services, we will proceed to Highland Cemetery 2167 Dixie Highway, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017
