John Albert Moyer, 79, of Erlanger, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. John was a retired Sprinkler Fitter with Automatic Sprinkler local #669. He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. John was an avid sports fan. He loved golfing, bowling, playing corn hole, Nascar racing, UK basketball and football, the Bengals and the Reds. He also loved going to his grandchildren’s sporting events.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Pat Moyer of Erlanger; daughters, Shelly (Riga) Kalfas of Alexandria, Tina (Jim) Vise of Bethal, OH, Theresa (Ronnie) White of Hebron; sisters, Betty Oard of Florence, Mary Holt of Ludlow; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and he was “Uncle John” to many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anna Moyer; brothers, William Moyer, Jack Moyer and Elmer Adams.
Visitation is on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow.
Services are on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM in Pleasant View Baptist Church, 240 Pike St, Bromley, KY 41016.
Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Pleasant View Baptist Church.
