Gayle Lightner

Gayle Lightner, 76, of Ft. Mitchell, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021. She was a retired Customer Service Representative with the IRS; and after retirement she was a realtor with Sibcy Cline Realtors for 21 years. Gayle was a member of St. Agnes Church and a lifetime member of Ralph Fulton VFW Post 6423 Ladies Auxiliary in Erlanger. She loved to cook and collecting cookbooks. When she was not creating delicious meals, she enjoyed crafting and gardening. More than anything she loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Kellie Lightner of Erlanger, Kimberly Lightner (Roger Bishop) of Ft. Mitchell; son, Brian Lightner (Leisa Hammons) of Florence; brothers, Rick Harris (Renee) of Ft. Wright, and Tom Harris (Donna) of Florence; grandchildren, Chris (Taylor) Lightner, Stephen Coghlan, Cody Lightner, and Hailey Lightner; and great-grandchildren, Ruby Ratliff and Zane Lightner. Gayle is also survived by 4 stepsons and several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

Gayle was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard W. Lightner and brother, Terry Harris.

Visitation is on Sunday, July 18, 2021, from 2:00 PM to 5:00PM in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY with Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 19, 2021, at 11:30AM in St. Agnes Church, 1680 Dixie Hwy, Fort Wright, KY.

Interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell.
