Claude M. Fugate, 72, of Ludlow, passed away on July 4, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood.  He was a retired Tire Repair Man in the Vehicle Maintenance Department for the U.S. Postal Service.  Claude served our country for 8 years in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam Era and was awarded the Purple Heart.  He was a member of the Ludlow Fire Department and loved fishing, camping and golf.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Fugate of Ludlow; sons, Scott Fugate of Huber Heights, OH, Arin (Keri) Mackay of Latonia; daughter, Terri Lynn Noble of Fort Wright; brother, Stanley (Glenda) Fugate of Erlanger; sisters, Debbie Vater of Erlanger, Barbara (Rick) Young of Ludlow; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude O. Fugate and Edith Godsey Fugate, brother, Kenneth Fugate.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with Service at 10:30 AM on Friday July 10, 2015 all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.

Interment in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, KY. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Ludlow Fire Department, 234 Oak Street, Ludlow, KY 41016
