Mary Judithe “Judy” Rechtin, 68, of Ft. Wright, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022, at UC Hospital. She was a retired physical therapist with St. Elizabeth Hospital. Judy was a lifelong member of St. Agnes Church in Ft. Wright. She was an Ambassador for Life Center and a graduate of Notre Dame Academy and the University of Kentucky.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, David Rechtin of Ft. Wright; son, Raymond Charles Rechtin of Louisville; daughter, Stephanie Rechtin of Newport; sisters, Mary “Pat” Carter of Dayton, Mary “Sue” Bowling of Newport and 4 grandchildren, Abby, Ray, Joe and Jacob.
Judy has generously donated her body to science.
Visitation is on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon all in St. Agnes Church, 1680 Dixie Highway, Ft. Wright, KY 41011.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of her life, immediately following Mass, in the church undercroft.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Life Center Organ Donor Network, 615 Elsinore Place, Suite 400, Cincinnati, OH 45202.
