Joan Seibert, 85, of Independence, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Hospice. She was a retired tax examiner with the IRS. She was a member of Sts. Boniface & James Church in Ludlow. She loved being outdoors especially gardening, feeding the birds and squirrels, loved all animals especially her dog, Bruno. Joan enjoyed traveling to Florida for the beach and absolutely loved watching The Golden Girls. Joan was a very generous person who had an infectious smile and was very appreciative of all the things friends and family did for her.
Survivors include son, Frank X. Seibert; sisters-in-law, Margaret Kafel, Pat Cooper, and Sister Augusta Marie Seibert, C.D.P.; caregivers, Missy and Augie Seibert and Rhonda Brun. Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Seibert, Sr.
Visitation in on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 from 10:00 AM to the hour of Christian Blessing at 11:00 AM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, KY.
