Thomas Ginney
Thomas William Ginney, 86, of Edgewood, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. He retired from Dole Fresh Fruit in Cincinnati as a Sales Manager. Tom was a member of St. Pius X Church and volunteered at the Parish Kitchen in Covington. He served our country in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Joyce Ginney of Edgewood; sons, Dr. Patrick (Yong) Ginney of Crescent Springs, Dennis Ginney of Bellevue; daughters, Mary Ellen (Michael) Dorough of Henderson, Nevada, Maureen (Steve) Foltz of Edgewood, Sheila (Russ) Kelly of Kenton Hills, Monica Ginney of Latonia; brother, Jim Ginney of Union; grandchildren, Collin, Erin, Quinn and Corey Foltz, Grace and Cameron Kelly.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Margee Stewart, Roseanne Ginney and grandchildren, Peter and Daniel Foltz.
Visitation is on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 3:30 PM until the hour of Mass of Christian Burial at 6:30 PM all in St. Pius X Church, 348 Dudley Road, Edgewood, Ky 41017.
Interment is on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Pius X Church or The Parish Kitchen, P.O. Box 1234, Covington, KY 41012.
