Ruth Loraine Foulks, 89, of Bromley, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at her residence. Ruth was an avid fisherman who loved fishing with her husband, children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed drinking a cold beer sitting on the dock at Elmer Davis Lake. The love and strength she provided to her family was the glue that held everything together. Her hugs made you feel like you were the most important person in the world. She never had a harsh word, just “that” look was all it took. Ruth was an amazing woman who will be missed by all.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 71 years, Charlie Foulks, Sr. of Bromley; loving daughters, Dixie (Shawn) Meyer of Owenton, Pat (Frank) Wartman of Bromley; grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda, Stephanie, Mike, Billy, Michelle, Jimbo, Shawn, Jamie and 18 great grandchildren.
Ruth was preceded in death by her sons, Chuck Foulks III (2006), Charlie Foulks, Jr. (2009), James Morehead (2010); sisters, Helen Cox and Bert Heizer.
Visitation is on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the hour of Service at 12:45 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill, KY.
