Steve Pfetzer, 65, of Villa Hills, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017 in Cincinnati. He was a retired auto mechanic for Airport Ford in Florence. Steve was a simple man who was charming, funny, likeable and extremely generous. He never met a stranger and loved talking politics and collecting stamps. He was a great cook who made the best soup.
More than anything he was proud of his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
Survivors include his loving companion, Cathy Merkle of Cincinnati; daughters, Andrea Pfetzer of Villa Hills, Emily Pfetzer of Baton Rouge, Leighann Pfetzer of Villa Hills, Lauren (Joe) Hayes of Ft. Mitchell; brother Daniel “Soop” Pfetzer of Bellevue; sisters, Cindy Purdy of Union, Jeanine Cook of Richmond, Carolyn Perry of Crescent Springs and 7 grandchildren.
Steve was preceded in death by his son, Charles Pfetzer (2011); brothers, Tom, Bruce and Ralph Pfetzer.
Visitation is on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 10:00 AM to the hour of service at 12:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell.
