Jenny Kallmeyer, 67, of Villa Hills, passed away on Tuesday May 9, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. Jenny grew up on a farm in Falmouth and was a teacher for over 20 years with the Kenton County School system. She loved gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her children. Jenny also loved reading and playing bridge and was a long time member of a book club and a bridge club. She graduated from the University of Kentucky and was an avid Wildcats basketball fan along with her brother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Kallmeyer (2001) and her father, Joseph Crotty.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Crotty; son, Doug (Nicole) Kallmeyer of Park Hills; daughter, Lauren (Bernard Clay) Kallmeyer of Villa Hills; brother, Steve (Olivia) Crotty of Nashville; sister, Kathy Hough of Chicago and her aunts, Kathleen Terlau and Julie Landry of Ft Worth, TX.
Visitation is on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY with a memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Barbara Church, 4042 Turkeyfoot Rd, Erlanger, KY 41018.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Parish Kitchen, 141 W Pike St, Covington, KY 41011 or The Elephant Sanctuary, 27 E Main St., Hohenwald, TN 38462.
