Charles E. Powers, 85, of Ludlow, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at his residence. He retired after 43 years from RA Jones as a Customer Service Agent. Charles was a member of Sts. Boniface & James Church in Ludlow. He loved golfing, going to the race track, watching sports and especially spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Powers (1994); brother, John Powers; sisters, Edith Neiheisal and Margaret Tomlin.
Survivors include his sons, Eddie (Fanny) Powers of Ludlow, Bill (Becky) Powers of Sharonville, OH; daughters, Carolyn Powers of Maineville, OH, Julie Alig of Ludlow; brother, Thomas Powers of Covington; grandchildren, Candice, Colin, Danielle, Tia, Avery; great grandchild, Otto and dear friend, Judy Schill.
Visitation is on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Mass of Christian Burial is on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Sts. Boniface & James Church, 304 Oak Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
