Bill Clayton, 83, of Burlington, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at his residence. He was a retired warehouse manager for Siemens. Bill was a charter member of Hebron Baptist Church where he was a Deacon Emeritus. He loved spending time with his family. Bill, also, enjoyed gardening, fishing and cheering for the University of Kentucky.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James M. Clayton and Robbie Hetzel; brothers, James. F. Clayton, Harry Clayton, Charles Clayton; sisters, Martha Daulton, Sue Eickhoff, Nell Estep; and great grandchild, Aubry Engles.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Shirley (nee Delk) Clayton; sons, Greg (Jerrie) Clayton of Harrison, OH, Mark (Rhonda) Clayton of Burlington; grandchildren, Todd (Jenny) Clayton, Tera (Adam) Engles, Adam (Leah) Clayton, Ashley (Steven) Thomas; great grandchildren, Gabe, Greta, Gwen, Nolan, Savannah, Olivia; and twin sister, Betty Carder of Greenfield, IN.
Visitation is Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 10:00AM till the hour of service at 12:00PM all in Hebron Baptist Church, 3435 Limaburg Road, Hebron, KY 41048.
