Violet Louise Solomon, 90, of Erlanger, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at her residence. She was a retired sales person for Hoover Vacuum. Violet was a devoted member and Sunday School Teacher of Central Church of the Nazarene in Ft. Wright. She was also a member and Ambassador of the Elsmere Senior Citizens. Violet loved dancing, shopping and taking care of her patients as a Home Health Aid. She would light up the room when she entered it.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Solomon of Erlanger; son, Charles (Marilyn) Perkins of Spokane, WA; daughters, Lois (Donald) Hadsell of Sarasota, FL, Sylvia (Clint) Breier of Morrow, Ohio; brothers, Lawrence Marksberry of Alabama, Leslie Marksberry of Lexington; sister, Jewel Phelps of Ludlow and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Violet was preceded in death by her son, Mark Perkins; sisters, Marie Kellingsworth and Virginia Estep.
Visitation is on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 10:00 am to the hour of Service at 12:00 noon all in Central Church of the Nazarene, 2006 Pieck Drive, Ft. Wright, KY 41011.
Interment in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Central Church of the Nazarene.
