Rosemary Young, 90, of Burlington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at her home.
She was a Homemaker and a lifetime member of Sts. Boniface and James Church in Ludlow. Rosemary was a cafeteria lady at St. James School and was an excellent cook who loved to travel to Myrtle Beach. She was a dedicated member of Ludlow Fire Department as a result of her husband, Tom Young being Fire Chief for many years.
Survivors include her daughter, Valerie (Terry) Bandy of Ludlow; sons, Rick (Barbara) Young of Ludlow, Dan (Judy) Young of Independence; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Rosemary is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Young; sister, Kathryn Schrand and brothers, Bill and Jack Quinn.
Visitation is on Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 9:30 AM until the hour of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM all in Sts. Boniface and James Church, 304 Oak Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Ludlow Fire Department, 234 Oak Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
