Jack E. Ellis
Jack L. Ellis, 79, of Florence, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 at his residence. Jack was a retired warehouse manager for Globe Furniture. He loved boating and camping at Camp Turnabout with friends and family. Jack also enjoyed working on boats and jet skis.
Survivors included wife Paulette Ellis of Florence; sons, Rick (Melba) Ellis of Fairfield, Ohio, Stephen (Dottie) Ellis of Covington, Matthew (Jackie) Ellis of Covington; daughters, Jill (Kevin) Bargo of Independence, Tami (Bill) Pike of Alexandria; brother, Nickolas “Larry” Ellis of Independence; sister, Brenda Randolph of Independence; 22 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Also survived by step-sons, Jerry Newman, Gary Newman, and Michael Newman all of Williamstown; and step-daughter, Shawna Newman Clay of Fitchburg, Virginia.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents Nickolas and Marie Ellis; first wife, Florence Ellis; son, Todd Ellis and sister, Loretta Hart.
Visitation is Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 10:30AM to the hour of service at 12:30PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North.
