Larry Dunaway, 69, of Burlington, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. He was a retired iron worker who was currently employed by Federal Express.  He had been involved in building the Epcot Ball in Disneyworld.  Larry proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of Seven Hills Church in Florence, VFW Post 6428 in Addison, OH, and the Iron Worker’s Union.

He was preceded in death by his son, Troy Dunaway and father, Emmitt Dunaway.

Survivors include his devoted wife, Nina Dunaway of Burlington; son, Tyler (Shawn) Dunaway of Channelview, TX; daughter, Anne Parker of Cincinnati; mother, Imogene Dilts of Florence, IN; brothers, Jeff Dunaway of Ross, OH, Bill Dunaway of Florence, IN; sister, Wanda Dunaway of Florence, IN; grandchildren, Amanda Dunaway, Janelle Maxey, Kayla Simmons, Erin Parker, Julian and Jaylen Parker; and 1 great grandchild, Laeya Maxey.

Visitation is on Monday, October 12, 2015 from 10:00 AM to the hour of Service at 12:00 PM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.

Interment in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested the Larry Dunaway Memorial Fund made payable to Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home.
