Helen Kemper, 85, of Villa Hills, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood.
She was a parishioner of St. Pius X Church, former parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church, and former member of Summit Hills Country Club. Helen was an avid card player, tennis player and golfer. She enjoyed crafts, painting, spending time with family and friends and boating on the Ohio River.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen “Kelly” (Eric) Boerger of Ft. Mitchell; grandchildren, Nicholas (Angie) Boerger and Richard Kemper; great-grandchildren: Joey, Andy, Peyton and Calla Boerger; and sisters, Mary Lou Murphy and Doris Fedders.
Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Kemper (2008); son, David Kemper (2010); grandson, Maxwell Boerger (2003); brother, Edward Beiting; and sister, Susan Gerding.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 5:00 PM until the hour of Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 PM, all at St. Pius X Church, 348 Dudley Rd., Edgewood, KY 41017. Inurnment will be held at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Rd., Edgewood, KY 41017.
