Katherine "Chick" Slay
Katherine “Chick” A. Slay, 77, of West Covington, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood.
She was a retired secretary for US Bank for 45 years. Chick was a devoted member of Lakeside Christian Church and volunteered with Lakeside Travelers and Best Years. She was loyal friend to many and was an avid traveler.
Chick is preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl “Bob” Slay, Jr (1/15/2002); daughter, Darlene Slay (5/31/1985); and sister Rose Sturgeon (2008).
She is survived by her sister, Jean Fawley of Hillsboro, OH; nieces and nephews, Cheryl Winkler, Adian, Steven Sturgeon, Kristi Hansel, and Kevin Fawley; and 5 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 4:00PM to 7:30PM followed by services on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 10:30AM all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
Interment in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Lakeside Christian Church, 195 Buttermilk Pike, Lakeside Park, KY 41017
