Paul E. Brown, 87, of Ludlow passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Villaspring Care Center in Erlanger.
He was retired from the maintenance department at Tony Michael Tire Company. Paul started driving the first door to door ice cream truck as a teenager during World War II; a job he did for 26 years, as a result he became known as the “Ice Cream Man” to all he served.
Paul is survived by his son, Paul “Garry” (Sue) Brown of Ludlow; granddaughter, Tracy Atkinson; and great-grandchildren, Brandon, Justin and Tyler Atkinson. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce Brown; brothers, Jim and Robert Brown; and sisters, Pauline Allen and Dorothy Brue.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014 from 10:00 AM until the hour of Service at 11:00 AM, all in Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm St., Ludlow, KY, 41016.
Interment at Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky.
