Robert Joseph Roland, Sr., 90, of Burlington, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022, at the VA Hospital in Cincinnati. He was a retired Agent in Charge for Trans World Airlines where he worked for 34 years.  He then worked at Triple Crown Country Club for over 30 years. Bob proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Mostly he was very proud of his 7 children. Bob and his brother are members of the Covington Catholic Hall of Fame for boxing, baseball and basketball.  They are also members of the Northern Kentucky Hall of Fame in baseball and basketball. He continued to play baseball during his service in the Air Force and longer.  For the last 40 years he has been an avid golfer. He enjoyed golf outings with his friends. He loved camping, fishing and traveling with his family.   He was a member of Mary Queen of Heaven Church in Erlanger and a Kentucky Colonel. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Nancy Becker Roland of Burlington; sons, Joe (Jeanette) Roland, Jr. of Denver, N.C., Tony (MarMae) Roland of Burlington, Greg Roland of Grant County, Andy (Len) Roland of Cherryville, NC, Chris (Debbie) Roland of Burlington, Matthew (Laura) Roland of Union; daughter, Nancy (Bill) Niehaus of Independence; brother, Ronald Roland of Marietta, GA; grandchildren: Kristen, Nicholas, Brittany, Nathan, Jason, Nicholas, Ethan, Michaela, James, Amber, Robert, Kevin and Parker; great grandchildren: Carter, Lily, Jenna, Lexi, Abby, Josie, Alister, Aria, Locke, Mary, Bernadette, Peter, Joseph, Liliana, and Noah.

Visitation is on Monday, February 28, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the hour of Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM all in Mary Queen of Heaven Church, 1150 Donaldson Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018.

Interment with Honors in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY.

In lieu of flower, memorials are suggested to Mary Queen of Heaven Church.
